Citizen proposition taken from survey response

Avatar: VIA FUTURA VIA FUTURA

At the moment, the many traffic lights from Ferney to Place des Nations, which slow down the traffic flow, are not discouraging car travelers. They are only making them angry. It would be better to help the traffic flow until the public infrastructure can be a serious alternative to individual cars. Also, the management of the custom (frontier) traffic flow at the Ferney's custom is hilarious and ridiculous. Police makes stupid controls during the pick of traffic slowing down the flow causing the doubling of time to work. Most of the time during low traffic, no one is checking at the custom. If a criminal wants to pass there, he/she would easily knows when to pass it. So what is the point to check cars during high pick of traffic? It would be very easy to dedicate a line to frontaliers, by establishing a procedure so that frontaliers have a special pass. Why this is not done? ##TramNations
