Artificial intelligence allows political leaders to visualize different possible futures, i.e. to represent the potential consequences of political choices. It is a decision support tool for political leaders.
Example: by analyzing traffic data in a city, artificial intelligence can create a virtual model of the city (but with the characteristics of the real city). This model allows policy makers to test different options (e.g. making a street pedestrian, adding a streetcar line, etc.) without impacting the real traffic.
The data is collected and analyzed by an artificial intelligence developed by a public entity (cantonal or federal).
